United Nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina for International Women's Day 2022: Gender-based violence

The International Women's Day 2022 is an opportunity to acknowledge progress achieved toward #GenderEquality, but also remind about the still existing gaps.

UN colleagues in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the UN WOMEN Representative in BiH, David Saunders, highlight importance of preventing gender-based violence, ensuring adequate response to it, and noting the important role everyone has in helping change attitudes; stereotypes about what women and men should and shouldn't do; not accepting discrimination, rudeness, controlling behavior or violence in any form.
