“Dialogue for the Future (DFF)” public Call is open for public institutions, local governments (municipalities/cities) and civil society organizations (CSOs) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Republic of Serbia.
Joint Regional DFF Programme seeks to enhance trust between different social groups and peoples, in and between, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia, through structured opportunities for dialogue, action and policy recommendation.
Twelve dialogue platforms were organized in all three participating countries as a part of the Joint Regional Programme, gathering over 1,200 adolescents, young people, civil society representatives, youth and women’s organisations, public institutions, media outlets, teachers and the private sector in the last few months. Platforms have provided space for the identification of challenges in the field of social cohesion and recommended joint activities to address the identified challenges/priorities.
At the Regional Dialogue Platform held in Sarajevo, 2 to 3 December 2019, participants from all three countries gathered to further elaborate on these priorities (as per prior discussions at dialogue platforms in each of the countries) and have made recommendations for possible action in each area.
Based on the series of linked platforms, the priority areas and themes of this call are defined as:
- Youth capacity building
- Improving media and information literacy, and media reporting
- Enhancing dialogue and action for common good
- Strengthening education system towards achieving social cohesion
- Improving gender equality
- Promoting cultural diversity and inter-cultural understanding
- Environmental protection
Project proposals are to be submitted by 9 February 2020, 17:00hrs. More details on the Call, guidelines, as well as required application forms and templates can be found here: http://procurement-notices.undp.org/view_notice.cfm?notice_id=62265
