Budapest-based FAO's Deputy Regional Representative for Europe and Central Asia, Mr. Nabil Gangi, conducted a virtual mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 25-29th, 2021. The virtual format of the mission allowed compliance with all the COVID-19 safety measures, while also contributing to reduction of carbon footprint resulting from air travel.
The joint UN project ‘Reimagining Education for Marginalised Girls and Boys during and post COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina’ was launched today at the UN House in Sarajevo. The project is jointly implemented by UNICEF, UNESCO, ILO and UNV.
The project is implemented in close partnership with the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska, the Ministry of science and technology, higher education and information society of Republika Srpska, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of West Herzegovina Canton and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Una-Sana Canton.
