WHO and The Global Fund To Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (The Global Fund) have signed a revised Strategic Framework for Collaboration for the next five years, aims to strengthen health systems and maximise collaboration in response to major communicable diseases. for all, as set out in Sustainable Development Goal 3.
The Quadripartite organisations - FAO, UNEP, WHO, and WOAH have rebranded WAAW to World AMR Awareness Week. This rebranding reflects more accurately the challenge of resistance, underscoring the necessity for cross-sector collaboration to maintain the efficacy of critical medicines.
WHO and EC have announced the inception of a notable digital health partnership. Starting from June 2023, the WHO will adopt the EUs system of digital COVID-19 certification to establish a global network, easing global mobility and shielding citizens from ongoing and future health risks, including pandemics.
