UN Bosnia and Herzegovina Annual Results Report 2025
The Report presents the collective results of 18 UN entities working with institutions, civil society, development partners and communities across the country.
In 2025, through more than USD 88 million in development assistance, the UN supported Bosnia and Herzegovina across the four strategic priorities of the 2021–2025 United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework: sustainable, resilient and inclusive growth; quality, accessible and inclusive education, health and social protection; people-centred governance and the rule of law; and citizen and community engagement for social cohesion. These efforts included support to sustainable economic growth, education reform, health and social protection, governance and the rule of law, social cohesion, trust-building, gender equality, climate action and green transition.
The 2025 report also marks the final year of implementation of the 2021–2025 United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework. As the UN and Bosnia and Herzegovina begin a new chapter of partnership through the 2026–2030 Cooperation Framework, the results presented in this report provide a strong foundation for continued joint action towards the Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030.
